This is the part where I introduce myself, so here goes:
I’m Daniel Lobatón. Chief Creative Officer of DAVID North America, leading creative across New York and Miami.
Before that: Rethink New York, Saatchi & Saatchi New York, VML, LatinWorks, and Y&R in Paris and Lima. So, global, multicultural, US. And oui, je parle français. Y español.
I’ve had the chance to work with Tide, Goldfish, TikTok, Google, Olay, Downy, Uber, Heinz, IKEA, Supercell, Wendy’s, Kimberly-Clark and Cointreau, amongst many others.
Different categories, same goal: make it simple, make it sharp, make it behave like something people would actually want to pass on.
I’m proud to have led work that helped Saatchi & Tide earn the Penta Pencil at The One Show, and to have helped open Rethink New York during a run that led to Independent Network of the Year at Cannes Lions.
Even more proud of all the teams that made it into Adweek’s Creative 100 along the way.
I’m also a comic book nerd and have a Nintendo Switch 2, not sure that makes me a gamer.
