Daniel Lobatón is Chief Creative Officer of DAVID North America, leading the agency’s creative work across New York and Miami.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Daniel has built his career around a simple instinct: finding brand truths hiding in plain sight and turning them into ideas that earn a real place in culture.

That thinking has helped turn every commercial in the Super Bowl into a Tide ad, expose fake Heinz ketchup, convince millions of people to wash in cold water, restore the missing accents on Latino baseball players’ jerseys, bring players back from copycat games to the original, and make Goldfish a much bigger part of culture.

Before joining DAVID, Daniel was Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Rethink New York and Chief Creative Officer and Co-President at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, with earlier roles at VML, LatinWorks and Y&R in Paris and Lima.

His work has been recognized with a D&AD Black Pencil, Cannes Film Grand Prix, Titanium Lion, Entertainment for Gaming Grand Prix, One Show Penta Pencil, Super Clio, Grand Prix honors at the Effies and WARC, and an Emmy nomination.

He is proud of the awards, but even prouder of the teams behind the work and the creative cultures that made it possible.

Daniel works in English, Spanish and French, collects comic books, and owns a Nintendo Switch 2, although he is still not entirely comfortable calling himself a gamer.
